Andraste, seeing the crash scene ahead, actually managed to stop. The little bundle of joy was in a fit of laughter up until poor Aesis actually hit his head on the wall. Both hands flew up to her mouth and she ran over, concerned about the boy who she had been dancing with, "AESIS ARE YOU OKAY!?" She asked in an odd mix of elf english and Irish. It was a very interesting mix and it was unknown if Aesis could actually understand with each word in a different language.

As she ran over to make sure they were alright, the girl tripped, catching herself well enough beside Aesis that she didn't slam her head on the ground, she tried to scramble to her knees to look her friend over.

"Eh...I'm fine..." He muttered, not wanting Andraste to worry about him, after all, it was he who was worried about her running over almost hurting herself as well.

"It's that one that's not fine." He said, pointing to Ndale. "Hyperactive, probably mentally ill. And maybe something's wrong with his face, the tear marks."

He slightly smiled at the thought of Ndale being scolded at by Andraste, which probably wouldn't happen, but sounded better off in his mind.

He got up, brushed himself off, and felt a sharp pain in his neck.

He cursed in Elf under his breath, then sat down again on his knees.

Heh. Pathetic. You call yourself an elf?

'Shut up. It's Ndale's fault.'

Let me take over, dumbskull.

Aesis hadn't the strength to argue any more though, but hopefully, that voice in his head would just go away.

The raptor's head tilted to the side, amused as he watched the ruckus. He caught Ndale's eye and a deep rumble echoed from his chest. It was a chuckle, though through a dinosaur's chords it emerged sounding much more like a growling purr. But his concern was the same as Andraste's, and his chest heaved with a sigh when Aesis returned to the floor after attempting to stand. Finally, he approached, talons clicking against the floor, and began circling the pair of students to assess the damage visually.

"Mister Aesis." After completing a full circle, the raptor came to a pause in front of the elf and held him under a steady gaze. "You are in discomfort, what ails you?"

The student had told Andraste he was fine, but it was Od's duty to be sure. Ndale was already on his feet again, and Od was confident he wouldn't need prompting to let the dean know if anything was hurting.

Looking up at the man, he understood what the man was trying to ask.

"I'm fine, leave me alone." he muttered, holding his hands around his neck, not wanting the other man to help him.

He didn't want help, let alone let the voice in his head poke fun at his frailness.

Ndale's ears pinned back and he glared flatly at Andraste as the girl screeched. The feline flicked his tail, lifting a paw and leaning away from the girl as she tripped in the process of running over to them. The sight was slightly pathetic. He snorted airily and shook his head. Ndale watched Aesis carefully when the boy pointed to him, saying again something he couldn't understand, although by the boy's tone and expression, it didn't exactly seem like praise. The cheetah looked off to the side, feeling a bit guilty. Especially when Aesis crumpled to his knees muttering something harsh under his breath, Ndale felt particularly worried, and said so to Od with his eyes.

With a soft purr, meant to be reassuring and soothing, the cheetah dropped to it's belly, crawling forward to place his head atop the elf's knees, looking up with wide amber eyes that were glowing with gold inquiry to the boy's health and anger. Ndale rather hoped that the handsome elf wasn't sore with him, he hadn't meant to hurt him.

He glared at the cheetah that now set his head on his lap.

"..don't look at me like that." he said, turning away. "..It wasn't your fault..." he mumbled.

He'd always wondered what made him mad at Ndale. Was it perhaps he was a male? ...no. It was probably because of how annoying he was. No bother. He's fine as long as he's in his cat form.

He stroked the fur on Ndale's head, smiling, and feeling a bit better.

However the sharp pain in his neck disallowed him to stand at that moment.

'Heh. I always get caught up in these messes with Ndale, don't I?' he thought.

Y'know what, I'm not going to answer that. The voice in his head silently replied.

Andraste, starting to wish she wasn't around, slowly made her way past Aesis and off to wander through the hallways in hopes of finding someone that actually had interest in her. She didn't want to bother the coolest teacher ever anymore, and the cat seemed to like Aesis, and Aesis seemed like he didn't really want to be bothered, so she really felt like she didn't have a place here. She tried not to make a sound as she slipped away.

Abenzu was roaming the corridors. His/her hair fell upward, or downward, since he/she was actually crawling along the cieling. Abenzu pricked his/her ears at a slight commotion coming from around a corner. Quickly Abenzu slinked his/her way towards the sound to see a group of...people? There was a girl walking away, a boy on the ground, a cat-thing resting it's head in the boys lap, and a big animal thing with a....a....

Abenzu leaped down from the cieling and ran on fours towards the bigger animal thing. His/her actual goal was the animal-thing's tail. It was fluffy looking. "ZWU! ZWU!" Abenzu pounced at the feathery end of the animal-thing's tail. It surprised him/her, it wasn't very fluffy but it was soft. Abenzu cooed and rubbed the feathers against his/her cheek. "Poyo~."

The dean glared dully at the elf who was obviously in more discomfort than he was admitting to, but Od respected his decision to suffer alone. From the corner of his eye, he noticed the girl withdrawing, and for a moment Od was tempted to follow and make sure she ended up somewhere acceptable like the dorms, but the idea was quickly disregarded. The castle was safe enough and there was no curfew at any rate. The student could wander where she pleased.

Od would attribute his failure to hear or notice the newcomer's arrival to the fact that he was lost in his silent musings. But the breath of personal-space-invasion was hard to ignore as the student lunged for Od's tail. Instantly with the first contact, the agile raptor kicked off the floor and beat his wings just once to help propel himself to the railing of the balcony above. He spun on his perch to peer cagily down at whoever thought to try and seize him in such a manner, a wary grumble reverberating in his throat. The long and sturdy feathers of his tail splayed in the air safely behind him.

(( Sorry, Od wouldn't sit tight and let someone he doesn't know just nuzzle his feathers. ^^; ))

Soft fingers running over his fur started up a steady purring that rolled easily from Ndale's chest. The cheetah's eyes slipped closed and he was lulled into a light dose. However, the hunter in him jump-started and eyes snapped wide open at the exclamations from a rather abrupt arrival. At the time Od was ascending to the balcony above, Ndale was rising to his feet, turning with hackles raised and teeth bared protectively in front of Aesis. His exhale which had carried a loving purr erupted into a spitting growl, but it was short lived when he saw who stood there.

The attacker was a grey skinned thing that reminded Ndale vaguely of a monkey or a lemur. He appeared to the cheetah a bit patch-worked and brightly colored. The rainbow threw the feline off a moment and highly decreased the possibility that this being was threatening in the big cat's mind. Ndale's fur settled slightly, lifting his head from his snarl a bit, and he eyed the newcomer with a wary and slightly unsure look, not quite knowing what exactly he thought of the thing's appearance.

Watching as Andraste left, he had a feeling he should follow her, but he figured she must've thought he was annoying enough, so he brushed away the thought. His neck still hurt, so he decided sitting there for a bit more. Although he was sure he needed aid of sorts. He glanced at Ndale, and at Od, seeing if he could convey the message without speaking a foreign language to them.

He looked at the newcomer, gray skinned, and Aesis somewhat smiled at the other's babbling, thinking to himself that he wasn't the only foreign person here.

Abenzu landed face first one the floor and skidded abit. He/she sat up, pouting at not catching the Od's tail. Abenzu turned his/her head towards the Od's tail and glared at it. "Nebl! Nebl zwu-thing." Abenzu pouted abit longer then noticed the Ndale. He/she returned the Ndale's wary gaze with a big-eyed stare, "Kittykitty-thing seef?"

Abenzu got up and walked abit closer to Ndale, then crouched a few feet in front of him. He/she stared abit longer than saw a flash of color as his/her tail wagged slightly. Abenzu glared at the rainbow fluff on his/her tail and attempted to catch it, succeeding after a moment of twirling and reaching. He/she started nomming on the rainbow fluff with an angry determined expression.

Od was still glaring at the scene below him, but he'd had just about enough of this ruckus for one night. With a roll of his eyes and an apologetic glance shot down to Ndale, the raptor disappeared into the shadows of the balcony, most likely withdrawing back to his quarters for the remainder of the evening.

Aesis sighed, and got up, one of his bones cracking as he stood straight. He then felt strangely, older than he was.
He clutched one of his hands around the back of his neck defensively, and he straddled down the hallway, making a show of a fake half-limp to make Ndale feel bad. As he left around the corner, he began to walk faster (or trot, whatever way it is).
