Calm Down (after fireworks)

[Jami Futter]

Jami had just flead from almost unleashing her darkness infront of everyone on the cliff, not to mention in front of Owen. It was partly from the alcohol her body was still cleaning out, but also from the dark vibes radiating off of Leon. She flew into her window and crashed into her bed, knocking it over. A scream of frustration escaped from her mouth. Pillows started flying and the lamp hit the floor with a crash. The darkness was still fighting to be free. Jami couldn't let that happen. Green and black flames cover her hands and arms and shot out towards the walls. "No!" she yelled, cursing at her fathers name, for giving her this horrid side.

Finally she weakly made her way back to her bed, but to weak to fix it, passed out on the messed up frame. Her mother power flowed through her and started to heal her mind. Ridding it from the dark sickness that tried to come forth.

Leon had flown back up to the top of the cliff. He hated this night. He hated everybody that had been at the cliff that night. He hated Jami for punching him, Ndale for dismissing, provoking him, Od for getting involved in the first place, that girl, Amunet for trying to intervene and only making him want to continue. He hated Owen. He didn't know why he hated Owen, but somewhere deep in the back of his head he knew there was a reason.

Why had he even gotten involved was the big question. What made him want to help that no-name girl to such an extent that he would draw attention to himself to get Owen's attention? He would never do that... unless he geniunly wanted to help. For some unknown reason he had wanted to help Jami. The thought was almost cring-inducing.

The fight with Ndale had him fired up now and as he thought back on it, it only made him angrier. He began to shake as he often did when he got angry. He took the air again. He knew where to go.

The room in Dobhran Hous was easy to spot, burnt out as it was. He landed on the sill and looked at Jami. She had fallen asleep, apparently after destroying the room. Leon let himself in and pushed over a dresser in the room to try to wake her.

At a loud bang, Jami startled awake. Her body still not completly recovered had trouble sensing what was going on. From what she could gather though was that the dresser had fallen, no been pushed over. There was a figure, a man, with wings. It was Leon. Jami got worried and cringed a bit at seeing him in her weak state. She weakly raised an arm to cover her face as she coughed. Something in the room must have been burning. Jami grasped the edge of the bed to stand up. "Hallo." she said giving no attempt to hide her queen's english. She started to be able to focus more and looked around at the disaster she had created. The only untouch place of the room was Amunets side. Thankgoodness I won have another angrey person then, she thought.

Jami tried to step forwards but fell to the floor. The burnt floor smearing ash on her face. "What ever you do. Don't pitty me." Jami wouldn't allow her current enamy to feel sorry for her. She wasn't that weak minded. She needed no simpathy for her fathers curse on her.

Leons expression falter a bit but only grew worse afterwards. He hadn't expected her to do that. Though, it was her own fault, for enraging a demon. Worse so, because she had left immediatly after and he'd ended up taking Ndale who had next to nothing to do with the conflict at hand.

Leon began to shake again. Now his anger was more at her reaction to his presence. He hadn't wanted to see this girl. He wanted to see the girl who had punched him at the cliff. This wasn't her... but maybe... maybe he could lure her out.

"You shouldn't sleep with your window open," he said with a deep voice, eyes to the ground. Energy began to grow in his hand.

JAmi saw the dispointed exspression on his face. He was angery and didn't want to take it out on her while she was weak. So easy to read. "Hah, like i had a choice... you think i left it open on purpose? Thank you for te visit though" she said a bit cockily, trying to act smart. She fowned seeing her luggage crispey at the ends, but at least it wasn't damaged to badly. "I didn't even want this to happen. Not like I could stop it... Why did you come here anyway?" She growled out. Jami used the bed again to pull her ash covered self up. She noticed a cut on her arm, probably from her fall. A white light surrounded it and then faded leaving the skin new healed and clean. Jami picked up a brush off the floor and fixed her hair quickly. No point in having guests if you cant be a bit presentable!

Leon looked up sharply. "Because I can't calm down, dammit!!" He turned slighty and punched the wall leaving a hole that burned around the edges. Now what? She was laughing?

He moved across the room, extending his wings slightlly and trying to touch everything he could with them. He hoped the room would just catch on fire from the energy of his wings, but knew it probably wouldn't. Then he had an idea. He knew how to make Jami angry.

Leon walked across the room, to Amunet's side and extended his wings as far as the room's walls would allow him. He summoned more energy to his right hand and sat on Amunet's bed, leaving a gaping hole in the comforter. He never took his eyes off of Jami.

Jami watched as he wrecked her room more. "way to go dude." she hissed. Then he walked over to Amnunets bed. His eyes watching her. What was he going to do... "NO!" she screamed as he sat down. She flungs her self at himflying furiously toward him. She grabed his shirt and became prepared to hit him again. A fire ball started covering her hand. "If you don't kill me, Amunet definatly will!" Jami tried throughing Leon to the floor. Maybe she would have to let her darkside out now... she didnt want the demon to kill her, but if she did, she wasnt sure what would happen to him or if she'd be able to return to normal...

Leon smiled as she grabbed his shirt. She made a move to throw him but he spun, pushing her away with his wings. In one fell swoop he made his way back to stand beside the window. He raised his wings a bit more, begining to burn away at the curtains. Surreptisiously he placed a hand on the wall behind him. He didn't say anything else, and nbever took his eyes off Jami, or the smile off his face.

He was mocking her with those never moving eyes. Always on her. It enraged her. The curtain was smoldering. She flew up again and went to hit him. Her flaming fist aching to make contact with his flesh. She was on the edge, almost decideing to let her darkness take over. No. She would have to wait a bit more. He was just taunting her. The demon needed a real personlity check. As she got closer she stsared deeply in his eyes, seeing no real soul. Her face was one of frustration. She had a back up for if he moved. her legs were ready to swing if he changed his direction.

Not quite yet. Leon didn't allow himself to appear disappointed. He looked around the room with his periphal vision, still keeping his focus on Jami. Just keep burning it up,, he thought, and allowed his wings to wander the room. He grazed a lamp shade and allowed his wing to snake its way back to the bed beside Jami. He had to crouch down a bit to allow his wing to go over his shoulder, but it only made him appear more menacing.

Then he let out a light laugh, "You know, maybe if I keep this up the whole room will just catch on fire." It wasn't likely that would actually happen, but Jami didn't have to know that. Who knew? Maybe if he got angry enough, it actually would.

Jami was glad she didnt let her self go, she stopped and thought for a moment. Why wasn't he attacking? "Hey, why haven't you attacked yet? You scared?Why are you acting like a little child? 'Oh, I'll burn her room down and see her funny reaction!', pathetic." she mocked. "Grow up. You are older then you look, yes? I don't care if you destroy my room, Rendaz already dislikes me! hah. Do what you like with it! Be a man, stop playing pretend. If you want to attack... Come at me." Taunting Leon was fun, and fueled her for the battle she was intisapating to come.

She added one more thing, "Why are you even doing this?"

Now Leon allowed the smile to drop off his face. She wasn't cooperating. He searched her up and down, realizing this was probably the first thing he should have done. From what he could see, she didn't appear to be wearing any gold jewelery. It was never wise to make that assumption, though. He looked around the room for something else he could burn but that method seemed to have stopped working. It seemed that Jami had come to terms with the fact that Amunet was probably going to kill her... unless he beat her to it.

He stood up straight again, "You're the one that punched me," he answered. He pulled his wings back in close, but still didn't remove his hand from the wall behind him. "Ladies first."

At his invitation she flared up her arms, The flames were soon shooting towards the guy. "So how to you plan to kill me over one little punch? " she started laughing. Her flames surounded the area where where Leon was standing. She stopped her flames to see what damaed was caused, or if her had evaded her attack. "You gonna fight back now you child?!"

Leon muttered a spell under his breath. In response a black, fiery lattice appeared on the wall where his hand had been. He flipped backwards into the lattice, his wings barely fitting through as the lattice was still growing. Then he was flying on the other side of the wall. His spells were in latin. The english translation of the one he'd just used was "gate through matter".

He looked back at the lattice. It was impossible to see through the wispy blackness. All Jami would see when her fire cleared was a black hole in the wall where hed just been standing.

Now he had to act quickly. He flew up to the next level of the house and used the same spell to enter the room above Jami and Amunets, not caring if anybody was inside. Then he went to where he thought was just above jami, muttered the latin spell again and jumped through right on top of her. The first lattice was closing now and he made to grab Jamis arm. He wanted to bring her through the lattice, outside. He didn't want to fight in the small, cramped room, but an aerial battle, that'd be interesting.

Jami was suprised to see he was gone, where the heck had he gone! But then something grabs her arms from above and pulled her outside. Jami covered herself in flames hoping to burn his hands off of her. Just in case it diidn't work she swung her legs up and hoped to kick him in the head.

The fire on her skin only made Leon get a tighter grip on her. It burned, but he was to getting burned by his spells anyway. It was a tight fit through the shrinking lattice, but by pulling his wings as close as to his body as he could, he'd managed to make it through.

As soon as they were on the other side Leon threw Jami away from himself and allowed himself to drop several feet so he could collect himself in the air properly. After he did so he examined the burns on his hand and massaged the egg that he knew would soon grow on his head from Jami's kick. Neither was anything serious.

Jami was dropped after he get her kick. She moved her wings quickly getting use to them again. SHe looked around in the dark for Leon. "Show yourself, stop playing games!" To threaten hi she shot a large bbeam of her green and black fire up into the sky, hoping secreatly to attract help. She realised he was way more powerful and more exsperianced. She never even had a teacher to help.

Jami seemed to have trouble seeing in the darkness so he summoned more energy, this time to both hands, burning them further. They offered a sinister, dark glow that should have been enough for Jami to see him. He whistled to get her attention.

"Want to take this some place else?" He asked, and flew away in search of that lizard.

[Jami Futter]

Jami heard a whistle and saw the demons flames. She flew after him as fast as she could. Where the heck is he going. she thought.
