Jami didn't have anything to say in response. Fun was sometimes hard to come by and it was clear she wasn't going to get a certain type from this. It was all a game, a game which was starting to get old. Out of sheer annoyance with this figure alone, thoughts of anger popped in her head but her face still showed a smile. Jami moved closer to Leon and looked up at him. "What's your definition of fun then Mr. Barner" She gave him a raised brow.

Leon was completely relaxed now. He didn't have to think about using his methods anymore. Now he could keep this up for as long as he wanted, or simply drop it if he got bored.

He shrugged in response to her question, a bit of a smirk rematerilizing on his lips. "Like I said there are lot of ways to have fun. I think my favorite may be things like this though." Though way he said it suggested he was simply talking about the way they were flirting, but he knew what he was really talking about. Leon, however, realized that Jami was probably playing the same game. Her thoughts probably weren't entirely different from his own at the the moment. Maybe she'd see right through that last statement and this little game would end right there. Oh well. He didn't care either way.

At Leons response Jami returned her face back to calm and tried to keep any rage off her face. She closed the space a bit more between her self and Leon, not much room between them. She also tried standing taller on the balls of her feet. She looked up a bit at him so the eye contact was forced. He was obviously talking about his mind tricks.

"you know," she said trying to play as if she took his words for the flirting reason, "I think this is great fun. But not the best" she raised an arm and rest it on Leons shoulder, would he shrug her off?

She'd seen through it. Leon wasn't surprised. He had a thought that he should shrug her off and stop this. Tell her that she'd impressed him and he didn't know why she was attracted to that princess when she clearly on a higher level than him intelligence-wise. Say to her that, if he didn't know better, he'd have mistaken her for an active angel. Then he realized: where would be the fun in that?

Leon began to wonder what kind of things impressed Jami. He'd didn't know much about her personality-wise. One thing was painfully obvious, though: all this beating around the bush was getting very old very fast. Maybe he'd go for the chivalrous approach. This method always had a very high success rate. The only time it ever really really failed was when the girl was a feminist that truly believed chivalry was dead.

He broke eye contact for a short moment, bringing his attention to Jami's hand on his shoulder. He took her hand in his and he realized in passing that their skin tones were similar. Without stopping to silently ask her approval, he brought her hand to his lips, placing a light on the back, before restoring eye contact and his smirk widened. He still held onto her hand but lightly, so if she wanted to she could easily pull it back. He doubted she'd do this though.

Jami was sure this game would end soon. They were both running out of words and with out action or words there is nothing really but thought left. She was sure Leon knew she got his thoughts, she wasn't dumb. Having a hard life forced wisdom and common sense upon you.

It is moments though, when you frenemy takes you hand from his should and kisses it, that really faze you! Jami's reaction was one of surprise. Not just that though it was also full of calculating thought, wondering what the man was up to. Her face blushed a little and her eyes widened the tiniest bit.

Jami didn't pull her hand back, she stared at him stunned, "..."

Leon chuckled inwardly. There it was. He'd surprised Jami. He didn't miss the slight hint of red that reached her cheeks either. His own smile carried a feel of malice to it, though he wasn't actually plotting anything. He'd made Jami blush, and he considered that a victory.

Leon now looked at her with a single raised brow. "Cat go your tongue? That's kind of ironic." He was referring, of course, to the fact that his nickname for her was "Tiger".

As Leon raised a brow at her, she new she had lost. Dang. She raised her own though trying to get in a last battle strike. She looked at her hand which was still in Leon's and and gave him an interested look. "No, I don't think so. But your hands are quite soft." She smirked. They were no where near soft, but the fact was he still had her hand.

Leon's eyes were slowly returning to their normal shade of blue, though he was still in a better than he normally was. He was enjoying himself. Soft hands? Liar. He followed her gaze to their two hands. He still held her loosely in his. She could have pulled away at any moment if she wanted to.

Leon had already claimed victory. He wouldn't be the one to back down now. "So are yours." He replied smoothly.

Touche. Jami pulled up the quickest thing she could think of. "It would be rude for a woman to lead. No?" Ah being sexist to herself wasn't fun but if it saved her maybe she'd let it pass. Leading was something she tended todo, but the excuse worked.

She watch his eyes go blue, but not as blue as hers. Maybe the silver in them helped. Light eyes. The mark of a fairy. Psh. She looked like one but defiantly was not. Her soul said otherwise, lack there of or addition of such.

Leon laughed. The excuse would have worked if it was anyone but Jami. Truthfully, Jami had earned his respect. Not even he could find it in him to be sexist towards her. In fact, the idea that was taking this approach in the first place was laughable. Leon had at least learned enough about her to know that she didn't fit his definition of a normal woman.

"I am leading. It's your job to stop me if you feel," He paused here a moment, pretending to search for the right word, "uncomfortable."

Psh. uncomfortable. "Who ever said I was uncomfortable?" she sneakily added. Tilting her head the slightest bit and giving him a smile showing her white teeth. Acting innocent yet not at the same time was weird, but she could really careless.

Leon copied Jami's smile. It seemed she was back in the game. Good. It would be a shame to stop now. He loosened his hold on Jami's hands just a bit. Her hand slid so that now he was only holding it by her fingers.

"You could have fooled me." Of course, he did believe her. Jami struck Leon as the type who thrived in situations like this. He decided her surprised reaction earlier was simply a result of the personality she was used to seeing in him, and the fact that his actions went against it.

He proceeded to lift her hand back up to his mouth and gently ran her knuckles against his lips, never taking his eyes away from hers.

His return smile let her know the game was still on. She hadn't lost. But his next move helped towards not winning. His sudden fluffy actions weren't what she was use to in the cruel man she had punched when she first met him. Maybe Leon had duel personalities, like she did. As much as she was confused, she liked what he was doing.

Annoyed at her hopeless romanticism, but wanting to enjoy a man acting this way towards her. It seemed she was always the one who was wearing the pants in any situation. But that once again was being sexist to herself.

Her over all reaction to this was an involuntary flush in her cheeks. "I am an amazing actress when I try." She said with a little bit of sarcasm, " But we all have flaws. Yes? Like say if you were pretending to like someone, and they upset you. You short temper would ruin the act. And mine, well. The same as most young woman I guess."

Jami kept her eyes on his, only moving them to the side a brief moment when she hinted she had flaws.

His eyes widened a bit, satisfied with Jami's blush. He always considered blushing as something that would come in handy if he could control it. It was just something he couldn't do though. He shook his head once, but lightly so as not to disturb her hand at his lips.

"I hate it when that happens." He said it as if she would understand why and in what instance this would happen to him, though he knew she wouldn't. She could assume, though. "I'm a pretty a good actor myself though. When I want to be." He didn't move her hand away from his mouth as he spoke so his parted lips continued comb over the smooth skin. When he finished, he laid a soft kiss on the knuckle of her middle finger, closing his eyes just long enough to complete the action.

He was teasing her. Absolutely teasing her. She closed her eyes and resisted giving in to his attempts at what Jami saw as him trying to be romantic/seductive. Why the heck was he doing this!?! Her stomach felt funny and she opened her eyes with a look in her eyes that was a bit sad. The game was basically over for Jami. Her stupid emotions got in the way. Way to go emotions. Ruin the fun!

'Um, Leon...' Jami bit her lip and took half a step closer to him and leaned her sided on the wall again, closing her eyes, but not dropping her hand. Yes a good actor Leon was, and an unfair one as well.

Leon's smile lessened to a small degree, but he still wasn't quite ready to stop yet. Jami still hadn't taken her hand back. He still hadn't broken eye contact with her and kept her hand to his lips.

"Does. This. Make. You. Uncomfortable?" Between each word he planted a kiss on each one of her knuckles, going down the line. When he was finished, he lowered her her hand away from his mouth and allowed his malicious smirk to return.

Jami scoffed. "Far from it Leon." She gave him a hint of what he set of with some longing in her expression. Her stomach felt a churning and she watched him let her hand go. She turned so her back was on the wall and slid down it. She looked back up at him when she had reached the floor. "You win. " She groaned, running her fingertips up along the tips of the fingers on the closest hand to her.

Emotions! BLEH!

Leon watched as Jami slid down to the floor. He turned and leaned his back against the wall, setting the flat of his right foot against it and putting his hands into his pockets. He looked down at her, realizing he didn't particularly like his stance at the moment but choosing to keep it anyway. "Problem?"

She shook her head. Apologetically she replied, "I hate to admit I have limits to thing before my body goes crazy. And that was a pathetic limit." She face palmed herself not really wanting to explain to him her struggles with her genetic make up emotionally. Maybe another time if he was being nice. She made her way back to standing and gave him a half frown. "like I said. You win."

Leon suppressed his smirk and shrugged instead. "Been there, done that, never going back." He shrugged again. "With my life style you learn to overcome that." Now he allowed his smirk to show. "I guess that means I had an unfair advantage over you." Of course, that's how it was everytime he played this game, and he'd never bothered to point it out. It wasn't as much of a secret here. Also, in the human world not many people had decades of experience to boast about. Numbers weren't on his side here at Lillegard, though he was fairly certain Jami was actually as old as she looked.

Jami shook her head, he doesn't understand. it isn't something she could grow out of. Maybe he would get it someday. She nodded anyway to make him think she would follow his 'wisdom.' She was getting old of the breakfast room now. it had gone from hostile to playful to, who knows what.

She stood up turned to Leon. "Im getting tired of this. I'll see you some other time. I guess." she said with tiredness and stress. She turned to leave and started to make her way. but giving Leon enough time to say something in return.

Leon smirked and gave a light laugh. It seemed didn't believe in his doctrine that you could outgrow anything. It was really just a matter of perspective. Oh the things he'd learned in just 30 years.

He pushed off the wall, and turned to walk in the direction opposite Jami's. "Sure." He said over his shoulder. "It was interesting conversation, Tiger." He exited the breakfast room, now feeling there was much more, or perhaps less, meaning in that nickname.
