After watched the rat girl eat a few biscuits and she put her ends in the bin, afterall who who would want them? half eaten biscuits. She had trained herself over the years throuhh experience to only eat what she knew was good, not what looked good. One glance at the biscuits they might appear to be like that, without sweet filling to begin with. She'd learnt to get over nice looking appearances and only eat food she prepared herself.

She couldn't count the times she'd had a cold for months because of it. Food touched by others was bad. Simple.

Esha was going to ask her if she was alright, with her choking and all but what she saw next was offending to her eyes, Audi rushed to the bin and started touching things, sticking her face in. She would get a bug, all those germs! Esha gaped and drew in breath. The stone girl sat back where she was originally and shut her eyes and turned the other way towards Ashling, surely she couldn't be the only one shocked by this?

Aisling's mouth opened; shut. what on earth was Audi doing? then, Aisling pressed her hand to her mouth, trying to supress laughter--audi was a rat, after all. she had moments when she acted slightly more human than rat, but it was pretty obvious which part stood out most when it came to food, as Audi had no qualms about sticking her head in a garbage can. with giggles still wracking her see-through body, her sides hurt, Aisling set her forehead to her palm and shook her head slightly. She acted almost as someone would after watching a young child trying to eat dirt.

((i used to eat rocks when i was a baby -.-))

About half of the bin's contents were now arranged not-so-neatly all around the ratgirl's feet. Unfortunately, she found exactly nothing of interest - the humans in the castle were oddly ecological, save for one at least. She stole another brief glare at Esha. After that, her gaze shifted to the trash now scattered along the floor. Her ear twitched and she looked to Aisling with confusion, unsure what the girl was laughing at, then back to the garbage. No, there really was nothing there. With a light shrug, she glanced around the room, scratching herself idly on her belly. A nap could do fine now.

In no hurry, she paced over to a corner next to a cupboard. On her way there she grabbed a chair and pulled it behind her to set it next to the corner. She then tucked herself between it and the cupboard it so that she would be covered from three sides. She arranged her cape around her, wrapping herself up warm, then laid down her head on top of her crossed arms, looking to the two others. Somehow, they didn't seem like they were dangerous, so it was fine. She blinked slowly. Then again. Then her eyelids slid closed and remained so.

The stone person was slightly horrified at what the rat girl was doing, all those germs! Although she should of seen it coming if she, with here being a rat and all that. Her personal items stunk enough, maybe she couldn't smell it anymore. Her stomach turned a bit.

She shivered and looked at the girl, who was laughing. She could laugh, but it would be Herself laid up in bed for 2 weeks. She was scared sometimes because when she had something particular serious she would turn to stone for weeks and not be a able to turn back, it was scary.

She knew she wouldn't get anything unless she touched it, but still. Ashling didn't seem to have a body, and Audi didn't seem to see the harm or disgusting filthiness of leaving rotting, smelly food everywhere.

She smiled nervously as the rat girl went to sleep, who was going to clean his up? she really hoped she wouldn't have to touch it..

Aisling had stopped her giggling, and now sighed as she leaned back on the counter. "well, at least now i know that staying at the castle will definitely be interesting...," she murmured to herself. she looked back to Esha--the girl had the most horrified look on her face that Aisling had ever seen.

"are you alright?" she asked hesitantly, keeping her voice down so that she didn't bother the sleeping Audi

Soon after her eyes closed, she drifted off, never finding it too hard to fall asleep or wake up. A few moments passed and her legs started to twitch slightly, kicking at the chair, and she made small squeaking noises, clearly dreaming of something. With the amount she ate it would be no surprise if it was all nightmares.

Esha nodded "yeah, I'll be fine", she kept focus on Aisling, not even glancing at the bin or the ratgirl. The stone person didn't want to be rude, she wanted to make friends and make herself known as a nice person. There was no particular reason to prove this to people...But friends were nice and a good reputation never hurt anyone.

Despite her best efforts she was reminded of Audi's presence by twitching and making little noises. "What do you think she's dreaming about?" She asked the ghost. Thinking to herself...She did dream she supposed to herself, just not very often.

Dreaming was a fantastic thing that involved thinking up things, all she ever got was a review of everything she had experienced that day. Pretty boring stuff most of the time.

Aisling blinked and turned to look at Audi's twitching.

"it looks like she's running away from something if you ask me."

Aisling watched her for another quite moment.

"i sort of forget what its like to dream....i literally haven't slept in years. i dont' need to...i'm not even sure i could if i tried."

someone---a rather curious child at a house she'd stayed in--had asked her if she slept. when she said no, the child had asked: "can you sleep?" and Aisling had realized that she had no idea if she could or not.

(please stop typing her name "Ashling". either use "Aisling" or "Ais", please

Audi woke up with a start and a sudden gasp, her eyes snapping open. It took her a second to get her bearings, and she still wasn't sure just where did she wake up. She glanced around nervously, gaze lingering for a second on both the girls in the room, then she visibly relaxed. Pushing herself off the ground, her jaw stretched into a mighty yawn that bared her huge yellowish incisors. She reached to scratch herself behind her ear, then finally rose to two feet and walked out from behind the chair.

She then stared blankly at Esha for a moment, then looked to Aisling. Her tail swished behind her slowly.

Food and sleep, two basic needs, were fulfilled for now. She now found herself in a completely alien place, in strange company, and with not a clue what she was doing here. Well, when in doubt, ask the humans... right?

"What now?" she asked, addressing nobody in particular.

"Sweet dreams Audi?" She asked the disorientated rat girl. She smiled to herself, sweet dreams alright...food filled probably by the amount she had just looked like she had eaten.

She thought about the last time she had woken up that disorietated looking..Ah! She had been sleeping as a statue and had woken in the middle of someone's house. Seh had been sleeping among other statues and had been falsely given a price, sold and ended up in the middle of a dining room. Not funny at all.

"Aisling? what now?" Audi was confused, Esha was confused. What was she talking about. Maybe Aisling would provide an explaination. She had no idea what was going on.

Aisling swung her legs curiously for a moment, and hopped off the counter.

"well...." how on earth was she supposed to go about saying this?

"we took care of your most important needs, Audi, so what else do you think you need? maybe head to the bathrooms or something to get cleaned up?"

well, it was about the best way she could word it. honestly, Aisling was used to the scent that lingered about the rat-girl, but she was pretty sure that other people would take it....in a less than kind way.

She gave Esha a serious glance and shook her head slightly, but said nothing in response. Her dreams consisted of being chased around by something... something bright and huge and complicated, of which she wasn't afraid, but still instinctively knew she should run. She never dreamed of anything else. It wasn't a bad dream, but it definitely couldn't be called sweet.

Audi's gaze flickered between the girls as they spoke. How come they didn't know? They should know. Who was supposed to know, if not them?

When she was addressed again her ear twitched and she looked to Aisling. Cleaned up...? She looked down to herself. She was fairly clean... Apart from the fleas, but not much could be done about that, really, as far as she knew. She squinted as she spotted a piece of paper that was clinging to her clothes and she pinched it off, then looked up at the ghost girl, holding up the paper between her fingers. She tilted her head. Surely that bit was what she meant - Audi was completely clean now, wasn't she?

Cleaning up? she wasn't going to force or coerce the ratgirl... But that was a better idea than...Something that was a seriously good idea. Deciding to keep quiet and not offend anyone was Esha's action plan for tackling this situation. Audi was a nice girl judging on what she knew and didn't want to upset her.

The clothes were the problem here, the stone woman thought.. she couldn't imagine one person smelling that much...But she was a rat. Esha was terrified of what rats carries on them.. germs, fleas, disease the list was endless and with her immune system she had every right to be, the fear wasn't completely unfounded.

The piles of rubbish were still lingering in the corner, laid out beside the bin... She ignored it the best she could. She turned her attention to a cookie and nibbled it, although still keeping an eye on conversation.

Aisling rocked back and forth on her heels, again trying to puzzle out her wording.

"well, i just thought that since you traveled all the way here...well usually after something stressful like that its nice to soak in a hot bath and relax, you know?"

alrigh, not too bad for improvisation. and it was partially true, anyway--hot baths were relaxing. maybe Audi would like to relax for a bit? if she did like the idea, then she certainly deserved the opportunity to relax.

Audi's stare remained completely blank as she struggled to comprehend what Aisling had meant. Soak in a hot bath...? How would one go about having a bath that was hot, and furthermore, how could a bath be relaxing? Swimming was a nice thing to do, sure, but soaking... did she want Audi to sit still in water for some reason? The ratgirl tried to wrap her mind around the concept, squinting slightly. She wanted to do what the girl wanted her to do, but she just didn't understand what, why, and how was she supposed to follow her wishes.

Sighing in frustration, she turned her head towards Esha, then trotted over to her. Maybe she would do a better job of explaining, after all, she was human too. Surely she understood what Aisling wanted. She reached to put her hand on the girl's knee, looking at her inquisitively, then pointed the thumb of her other hand at the ghost.
"Esha." she said. "What?"

Esha took another bite and watched aisling dance around the subject and the rat girl look up with a confused expression, as if the ghost were talking about rocket science or a complex theory. Baths for relaxing..

And to drown some fleas maybe, Thought Esha, but immediately felt terrible about it. What did she expect from a rat? She felt awful for thinking that too. There was a scale forming, one side was labeled 'vermin' and the other was 'human'; Audi was sliding towards the vermin end...She really wanted to believe otherwise but not knowing what a bath meant? She got the idea Audi was more rat than human in some areas of her life, It definitely explained the smell.

When Audi touched her with the same hand she'd used to pick things out of the bin she choked on her cookie briefly in shock. She coughed a few times and returned to normal, looking up to the ghost girl rather than a bacteria ridden hand on her leg.

"Well Audi, y'know how there is like..giant sinks in several areas of the castle." She hoped that was an adequate description "We use those for getting cleaner, and it helps relax tense muscles" She gestured to the tied up bag a the end of the door "Your arms must get tired lugging that all over the castle, no?"

Well, Aisling supposed that that was one way of explaining it. But how do you explain the concept of a bath to someone who doesn't seem very familiar with the concept? or at least the concept of a hot soak as opposed to a quick rinse-down. It was making Aisling's transparent head hurt to try and puzzle out this particular conundrum

"What if...we just show her the baths? Maybe that will help explain things better."
