Wanted: Haircut

[Abenzu]

All along the corridor walls, pictures, spaced about 5 to 7 feet apart, hung by little strips of tape. Each picture was hand-drawn and so all looked different but all had the same general design. In the center was the drawn head of Lillegard's only gnome, Abenzu. The outline was horribly shaky but the colors were practically perfect. In the empty spaces of the picture were even more shakily drawn doodles that faintly gave the impression of scissors. Though there were no words, from the many 'copies' one could tell there was some sort of meaning to it.

Further down the hall, putting up yet another picture, was the gnome in question. Abenzu was clinging to the wall, partially upside down, by it's feet and a hand. It's tail was holding onto a few more pictures. The other hand was busy fixing the picture to whatever hanging standrad Abenzu deemed it needed. Once the picture was 'perfect' Abenzu would run on the wall to the next spot and started hanging yet another picture.

To the people who know Abenzu, there was something quite different about the gnome that would most likely make sense of the pictures. It's hair. Abenzu's hair, even the normally dark grey fuzz, was longer and hanging in it's face rather annoyingly. Often it would stop what it was doing to try to fix it's hair out of it's eyes to no avail. The more it's hair bothered it, the more Abenzu hoped someone would understand what it was trying to 'say' with the pictures, since it still couldn't write English. All Abenzu wanted was a haircut and without it's parents, it had no one but the other people of the school to help and what better way to find SOMEONE but advertise.

Rhys strolled around the corridors of the castle, exploring as she hadn't bothered to before.

Although, she walked into a certain corridor...
She walked in, the flurry of posters making the hallways too colorful and eye-blinding. A figure in the distance, just as colorful as the pictures, almost blended in with one of the posters.

She approached the figure. Glancing at all the pictures he was hanging up, it looked like...Did he want scissors? The meaning confused her.

It seemed to be in a hurry, posting pictures here and there.

"Hello..?"

[Abenzu]

Abenzu nearly shrieked in surprise but it did fall off the wall and tumbled to the floor. It sat up once it came to a halt and rubbed it's head. It than looked up at the girl who spoke to it. It stared in wonder at the girl's long red hair before recalling her saying hello.

It stood up quickly, not tha it did much difference with height, and smiled cutely. "Hehlo, rehd paason." In no way was Abenzu trying to be rude, but it didn't know what else to call her.

Rhys stared at the creature some more, then quickly stepped back in shock at the..thing's tumbling. Maybe it was more surprised to see her than she was to see it.

She'd wondered why something like this was allowed to bounce around the castle's halls.

Apparently it was trying to say Hello, so Rhys feebishly lifted a hand and waved slightly.
She lifted an eyebrow at him.

"Hello....what are you doing?" she asked.

Abenzu seemed giddy at being asked about what it was doing. For a second, it just bounced around excitedly as it happily spouted out some Gnommish words. When it finally stopped, it climbed back up onto the wall and pointed at one of the pictures. "A........Adfurtaismehn." Big word for little gnome. It than indicated it's hair, and how long and scruffy it was. "Niid hair caht. Tu lawng."
