Flowers were amazing. They were beautiful, they were friendly, they were everything that one could ever hope for. It might've sounded like some sort of absurd exaggeration, but to Lunasola, it wasn't at all. Because at the moment, flowers were being a lot better than people.
And there were so many things that he could list off that loved about them. For a start, they'd listen intently to every word he said. He could prattle on and on and on about all sorts of things, but they'd just sit there, taking it all in, never once interrupting. They were never rude, they never snapped back, they were never unkind. They were faithful and loyal; he could admit a lot of personal things to them and they wouldn't spread it around, nor would they laugh at him.
And, most importantly, they were always there for him. Even if he had been abandoned by all who he knew, these flowers would still be there, waiting for his return. They never betrayed him... or left him... or...

As it were, the feluis was sitting in the gardens by himself--- no. Not quite by himself. Surrounding him in a frontal cone before him were a bunch of flowers, all pretty and colourful and varied. One stood out in particular, one with a crescent moon shaped centre, with a stem that was wriggling all over. He smiled at it, extending his hand towards it and allowing it to steadily crawl up the length of his arm until it rested happily upon his shoulders.

And there he sat, chattering away to the botany like they were old friends. If one listened to his one-sided conversations, they might hear him speaking of "that one time with my brother" or something equally light-hearted and casual. And after every story that he told, there'd be an expectant pause, as if he was waiting for the flowers to say something back.
Not that they ever did.

As usual, Ashel found herself wandering about this large castle again. Oh look, a door that led... outside? Her curiosity led her through it. This was a garden, it seemed. And a lovely one it was too: it was filled with colourful flowers and fragrant smells. She couldn't help but think of her home before she came to Lillegard. She wondered if she would be going back anytime soon...

But she didn't have much time to feel homesick, she could hear voices. It would seem there were others here as well. She drew closer to the voice, and popped her head up from behind a flowering tree. There were some sort of creatures there that she had never seen before: one was furry and yellow, while the other silent one looked like a plant. It was such an adorable sight that Ashel forgot to feel sad and even found herself smiling.

"So, I was hitting him with my sword..."
There was a sort of tapping on his shoulder from Happy Flower, to which he gave it an annoyed look as he nudged it away. He took an intake of breath to resume his story, only that the tapping continued, stems prodding incessantly at his neck. His attention finally captured, he peeped around to find out what was so important, before his eyes finally landed on an onlooking girl.

A grin sparked at his lips. Company! Then he remembered; he already had company. He looked back towards his botanical audience, gesturing as if he were requesting them to wait, before turning his attention towards the girl again.

Then he hesitated. Usually, he wouldn't. He'd greet and welcome them with open arms, but recent... circumstances... had forced him to be a little more wary.
Then he digressed - maybe this girl would be different from al the others. He couldn't help but cling to that hope. With his hand, he patted the dirt next to him in invitation for her to sit.
His ear flicked. "Hello."

How cute! Oh the flower seemed to noticed her. She grinned mischievously at the the furry creature as she scurried over to sit beside him. She answered brightly, "Hello. Nice to meet you. I don't think we've been introduced?"

She hesitated for a moment before settling down, did she want to sit in the dirt? I would probably get her dirty... again. Oh well, a story and a new friend would be worth it. She asked, "So... you hit who with a sword now? And then what happened?"

Gesturing towards the flower that had first caught her attention, she asked, "Well aren't you going introduce us?"

As she accepted his invitation, he seemed encouraged at the prospect of talking to her. She seemed... nice. Though the thought that she'd been listening to him beforehand did serve to embarrass him, if only slightly. The tales he spoke had been reserved for that of his audience.

He supposed he'd be able to tell her anyway.
He scrunched his face in thought, no particular name coming to mind as he explained. "Big. Tall. Bushy mane. He was wearing metal and had a big sword...!" He inclined his head at her, wondering if she recognised the appearance anywhere, before continuing. "But then I knock the sword out of his hand and I beat him!"

If flowers could have emotions, then one could certainly observe that Happy Flower might've seemed a little jealous. As in, it had now moved from his shoulder to clamber all over his face, vines waving in front of his eyes, possibly in hopes for attention. The feluis blinked to the girl, unfazed. "Lunasola. And this is Happy Flower... She is my flower, yes." He inclined his head. "Who are you?"

Ashel tapped her chin thoughtfully with her forefinger as the creature described his foe. Then she tilted her face and scrunched up her brows. "Hmm.. Nope. He doesn't sound familiar. Then again, I hardly know anybody here." She finished with a shrug.

As she stared at the Happy Flower that was crawling everyone with fascination, she nearly missed what it said. "Oh uh hi. My name is Ashel. I'm new here." She turned her attention back to the flower and giggled. "She's so cute. Well.. you two are both cute," she said turning back to Lunasola with a large grin on her face. "Nice to meet you."

The feluis deflated with slight disappointment as she confessed that she didn't know him, but put the feeling out of mind as she continued. It didn't matter much, anyway.

He smiled in acknowledgement of her greeting, which soon, unfortunately, faltered at her latter remark. Cute...? Well, the flower on his head seemed to squirm with appreciation, but Lunasola's expression was anything but grateful. His lips drew into a thin, displeased line, and his brows gathered angrily. He raised a hand, jabbing it in her direction. "Not 'cute'," he hissed. "Do not call me cute."

With an annoyed growl, he raised both hands and pried the flower off his face, dumping it onto the dirt where it sat quite quaintly. With that, he twisted away from her, both hands kneading and pulling at the grass in front of him in agitation. For now, he seemed to be in some sort of imaginary huff with her.
