Well, the other wasn't as intimidated as he'd liked, but the other not backing off turned out to not be completely unwanted at the end of it either. Amber darted to the finger that had hooked into the top of the boy's pants, to the board and back up to the other's eyes. His grin stretched wider. 

"I certainly wouldn't mind it, if you were so inclined..." His voice lowered, purring slightly. "To be honest, though, I'm rather hoping you are a guy. More fun for me." And the feline snickered through his teeth as he leaned back and took a few steps towards the board. 

He looked down on it. Hadn't he been asking for lessons because he didn't know how to ride it? But...well, he recalled what Esteban had looked like on it. And, regrettingly shoving the image of the boy's arse out of his mind to concentrate, he placed one foot upon the board. It moved a bit, but he needed it to roll with him on it. With both feet. Hm. A bit hesitantly, he gave it a small push and lifted the foot still on the ground. It more like an extended step as he didn't try to place the second foot on the board with the first. It wasn't so bad, as he placed it back down on the ground. He had gone in a safe, straight line on one foot. That wasn't so bad a start. He didn't fall at least. 

Well, that was boring. Shifting the first foot up a little higher on the board, Ndale pushed off the floor again with a bit more confidence. This time, he brought his foot to sit behind the other, turning his shoulder into the forward motion and standing sideways along it. It was shakily done, and his tail was up and swinging a bit to maintain the unstable balance. Once he was up, though, and still, he was just riding until the board slowed to a stop itself. 

Okay....why did humans like these again?

Esteban wasn't sure if he expected that sort of a reaction or not, but he knew that he was pleased. Still, he faked a surprised blink. "What, chu gay or sometin'? Gross." He snickered too, and put his hands on his hips as he watched Ndale approach the board. The cheetah would then proceed to fuss around with it all-too-carefully, bringing a small groan out of Esteban as well as a desire to push him off again. But that would be too predictable.

And maybe a part of him actually wanted to see if Simba could work it... And yet another part, to see him fall off without help.

So far, though, Simba managed. "Tight, mon! Y'got th' basics doon." Esteban clapped twice, walking forward to catch up. "'Bout as well as a lil' girl would. An' I wouldna teek my pants off fer a lil' girl. I think." He scratched his head. "Sah, ya gon' do the same, but as fast as ya outa?"

He scoffed and looked back at the other, skateboard rolling to a stop.

"I'm not gay. I'm just not particularly straight either." The grin he gave was crooked and the shrug rather lazy. "Gender doesn't phase me, long as you're fun. Besides, who said you were the one going to be taking off your pants?" His eyes trailed the other nearing, putting his foot down on the floor when the rolling ceased. At the other's comment, he glanced down at the board with a raised eyebrow. As fast as he 'outa'? Hm...he could do speed but...not in this shape. He made a skeptical face.

"Okay, problem. The human shape can only-" He paused and a wide grin spread over his face, turning to Esteban. "How fast have you managed to go on this thing?"

Esteban quirked a brow at the explanation. Okay, clearly his joke had been missed. Somehow, despite his usual straightforwardness, he did not feel like correcting the mistake. Maybe just to reveal that his opinion was similar to Simba's at a more... suitable moment.

A light smirk took place on his face. "Well dis ting duzn't reely 'av a speedome'er, ya no? But fast." He inclined his head to give him a challenging, slightly mocking look. "Fasta zan yo an' yo excuses could."

Just now, as he grinded down the rail, had to be one of the fastest speeds, but that didn't really matter as far as riding on flat ground was concerned... sadly. Esteban wanted to repeat the trick, but for now, the kitty boy was a worthy distraction. He seemed a little, just little, bit cooler than most of the clean and proper schoolboys and schoolgirls around the place.

[Sner]

Working hours had begun. Sner had equipped his usual regalia; his long, white mask and an old black robe that the High Order had once worn. With all things considered, it was ironic to wear, but he paid little heed to such a detail. He was Mr S now - there as a job to be done.

Clicking the door of the Warden's Office slowly behind him, he stood, mapping out in his mind where to go. It'd be a sunny day, which might bring out a fair amount of students to the courtyard, so--His line of thought was interrupted by the echoey voices of others in the room. Interested, he approached the railing, and leered down at the two students at the bottom of the stairs.

He only caught the tail-end of the green one's sentence, but he had a sour feeling in his gut as he leered at the skateboard. This... wasn't really the right location for extreme sports. It seemed he wouldn't need to go to the courtyard.

Slowly and quietly, he started to pace down the steps, careful not to allow them to creak, lest they give away his position. He'd simply observe, for now. The moment they stepped out of line, he'd catch them red-handed. With any amount of luck, he wouldn't have to do anything - but this was Lillegard.
There was always something going on.

So far, he liked Esteban. Canines flashed as the grin widened. Amer eyes narrowed slightly.

"Well, what if I told you that with you on it, I could get this board faster than whatever you have gone before?" Of course, this was probably far from safe, but hey, the kid had just come down the railing. Ndale hazarded a guess that Esteban didn't care all too much about safety. He also wondered which way to move the board was best...simply nudging it, or tying something to it...hmm... Either way, it sounded fun and there was a bright glint in his eyes.

The feline's tail flicked back and forth, and his ear twitched, but as yet remained unaware of their watcher.

Esteban let out a snort and raised his eyebrows at the proposition. He had been hoping to provoke Simba into trying to beat his speed (and fail, of course) but this... sounded even better. "Ya righ'," he taunted with a grin. "An' 'ow yo gon' do zat?"

It felt like ages since he had fooled around like this, and he found himself strangely happy. He didn't even realize how much he missed the old times, the street lifestyle. The good old days. Hanging out with other weird people. Mugging somebody to have money to get wasted, doing the stupidest crap, screwing around, setting things on fire, tagging the walls, running from other thugs and the cops. It was painful, dangerous, hard, and felt so... alive.

To think that now all he had was grinding down some old stairs and playing with a mutant cat... but what choice did he have? None. He never had any choice.

He huffed and stepped forward with a newfound desperation, a strange glint in his eyes as he locked them with Ndale's.

"Dis be'a be good."
