[Open] Lounging at the Lighthouse

Today was a bright day though of course, that did not necessarily mean it was the warmest. She had heard many students moaning and complaining about the chilly winds up near the lighthouse and it sparked her curiosity... they had a lighthouse? She had then spent nearly over 20 minutes in finding the place, only after 10 did she stop and ask for directions.

Once she had arrived she stood in awe at the view before sitting down, her back leaning against the wall of the large building. She ran a small pale blue transparent hands through the long blades of grass that swayed with the wind absent-mindedly as she stared at the ocean. It's view of the nearby crashing waves was an ideal places to spend an lazy afternoon, close enough to view the beauty of the ocean but not close enough to actually touch or be touched by the water itself, that would be bad.

She had loved the water ever since she was created. It was where she was born and it was where she itched to be once again, floating across the waves. Though she was born in a different type of water, in a different state. Was a large calm lake really that much different from the ocean? Maybe at some point she could find out, though not today. Today there where people in the waters as she could heard them laughing, if she where to enter the water today she was told bad things would happen.

Instead of continuing such thoughts of walking among the waves, she instead opted to simply watching them and wondering if anyone else could be around on a 'chilly' day like today.

Wings beat heavily, taking the birdman into flight. Soon, they smoothed out into an effortless glide, high above the castle walls. Amber eyes leering around the island as he struggling to keep the glaring sunlight out of his eyes.

It was one of his first days at the island, and he'd found it a wise notion to explore his surroundings during his off-hours. Mountains loomed in the distance, a patch of forestry swept across the ground, fields and meadows between. To the West, stood a lighthouse overlooking a beach. Seeing as it was relatively closer than other landmarks, he decided to investigate.

As he approached it, he tilted his wings to slowly lower himself to the ground, flapping occasionally to slow the descent. And then finally, his talons brushed past the threads of grass before finally landing with a 'thud'. He exhaled, looking over the beach, watching all the folks enjoy theirselves. Surely, it was not as bad as he'd been told it was? Surely...?

He noticed a shape out of the corner of his eye, and instinctively twisted around to see a girl sitting against the lighthouse. He blinked owlishly.
"Hello."

Zoya tilted her head as she heard a strange sound, it was just like the sound a bird would make as it came in to land, although this one was much louder and much nearer to her than when she had heard the sound previously. Birds tend to stay away from her much to her dismay. Shifting her eyes towards the sky she took a look around only to be startled back to earth by a male greeting, she didn't even hear anything land let alone walk up to the lighthouse.

She snapped her head around in shock towards the voice only to be greeted with a male bird-like figure with large wings.

Oh, so it wasn't a bird!... well it was but...

She openly stared at the creature with a look of interest that quickly was quick to make its way into her pink-ish eyes. They scanned him over trying to take in all the details she could before she realised that was she was doing was rude and they she had gotten carried away and never responded to the man's greeting. If she had blood she would have blushed so instead a sheepish smile played on her lips.

"Ah! I am so sorry, that was rude of me! Hello~"

The titari's eyes skimmed over her, curiosity gradually turning into bewilderment.  Okay... whoever she was, she certainly wasn't human.  The more he stared, the more things that looked distinctly off about her.  Was... was her skin see-trough? Her words snapped him out of his trance, and he blinked, before shaking his head.  "No, my sincerest apologies."

He bowed his head, before taking slow, careful steps towards her.  "I assume that you attend this academy?" As he approached her, the feathers of one wing slowly started to shrink away until there was nothing but an arm outstretched towards her in offering.

"Call me Mr S." His smile was slightly detached.  "I'm your new watchman."
