Jami had a playfully grumpy look about her as the comment on talking was flown at her but she ended up breaking a mile any way. It was true. She did talk a lot. It was just how she was of course. The nudge suprised her but she regained her balance with a playful OI! At his suggestion she took no time to consider. The game wasn't foreign to her but, not one she played. The idea of it seemed simple enough. "Sure, is it living?" The first question should narrow it down to...not everything at least.

Jami awaited his response but started entertaining herself by flying around him in slow ovals. Oval, not circle. People aren't circles, nor are they spirals.

Owen let out a small chuckle at Jami's annoyed reaction, before inclining his head in a somewhat apologetic manner. The smirk, however, refused to be wiped off his face.

He did find himself pausing to think at her question, because it wasn't quite as straightforward as that. However, it would be silly of him not to abide by his own rules, so he gave a curt nod. "Yup." He looked to her expectantly. "Ask as many as you want."

As Jami started fly around him, he failed to keep track of her with his eyes, and settled for just closing his eyes and looking to the sky again.

Jami hmmmm'd. Living, now to narrow it down, "Alright, how about...is it humanoid?" Haha! She stopped spinning when his eyes closed she looked at his lips but ten made her self look away. Another day Jami, she told herself.

"...Yeah." Closer than he liked. If Jami got it within five, Owen would've thought to feel ashamed for himself. Was it that easy? Considering the circumstances, it probably was. "I should've thought of something harder..." he chuckled to himself. "You'll get it too fast."

[Jami Futter]

"haha I guess i can read minds too!" she replied jokingly. Te next question was easy enough, "Male?" Jami made her wings disappear and sat on a space free on the bench This was a fun game, especially get things correct. What would she do when her turn came?

[Owen Mueller]

"Hmm..." He waggled his fingers indecisively at her comment, frowning slightly. "Ain't really gender specific. Could be either." Wasn't specifically a yes or a no, but Owen deemed the answer necessary. He gave her a mildly playful look, shuffling slightly out of the room just in case she needed more space. "You'll need to stop reading my mind though," he smirked. "It's kinda creepy."

[Jami Futter]

So something with out a gender, or both, ummm, this is getting harder haha, okay, is it a human?" Jami had to think a little harder now. It obviously wasn't something right there, but it must have been close. Jami nudged Owen in the side lightly. Giggling a bit she looked at him to see if her weak come back had any effect. She summoned a white light and swished it in the air before watching it burst into nothing.

He blinked at her question. "....Yes.." His voice carried on, implying that it being human wasn't quite the end of the game, and that there was a little extra important detail to it. What this detail was, he was almost completely certain that Jami could figure it out. He really needed to step up his game.

The 'assault' was unexpected, and almost immediately, he recoiled to the side, flailing out an arm to slap the offending hand away. "Hey, don't!" he whined, overreacting just a tad too much. But he couldn't help it - he just wasn't a very touchy-feely person like everyone else seemed to be.

Jami had to ask more but how could she make it so that the answer were very limited, "is it some one I know?" when Owen made a dramatic fit of her nudge she gave him a look of are you seriously that was nothing, a long with a laugh. She shook her head and stood up again. Picking up a carrot and rinsing it of with a convenient hose that was laying around. A girl gets hungry sometimes. Especially with a fast metabolism.

"Hmm." Another question that struggled to be either 'yes' or 'no', considering what he'd thought of. Finally, he shrugged with a quiet "No," although he was pretty sure that she may have encountered it. "Something," he mumbled in correction. He would glance quickly around, almost as if he were checking if it were nearby.

Jami's look made his face scrunch into an unhappy sort of pout - not actually pleased that he'd been shown up by a female, again. It was becoming a bad habit. His arms folded over his chest as he watched her, still looking a little less than pleased.

[Jami Futter]

Jami munched on her carrot a bit thinking. Her next questioin wansnt a good one but itwas all she could think of at the time. "Does it happen to be a lizard of some sort?" She gave a small smirk. Even if the answer was no it would be funny to see his reaction , "because you know, I love lizards." Flirting once again. Oh gosh Jami what are you gonna do with yourself! she thought. She finished off the carrot and contemplated taking another, it was fresh after all.

Jami got down and observed the rest of the vegetables. There was a little wind and it made her cheeks red. Jami picked out another carrot, deciding the first was worth it. She cleaned it off and this time broke it in half, holding one out suggestively towards Owen in a, 'you sure you don't want it?' fashion.

Owen raised a brow at her question, wondering if she really intended that question. She'd already asked if it were human before, and he'd said yes. Maybe she was just playing with him. "Lizards are my favourite animal," he admitted, almost feeling flattered by Jami's approval of them. "'Specially komodo dragons. But no, it's not a lizard."

He looked the carrot, and shook his head. He didn't really like carrots that much. And he could apply that distaste to just about every vegetable available in the gardens. However, he did find himself wanting of food, and he held out an arm for it anyway, looking somewhat exasperated.

Jami giggles at his answer to her ridiculous question. "I don't have a favorite. They are all really cool." She happily handed him the carrot. Taking a bite out of her end her mouth erupted in carroty goodness. She let out a satisfied hum. While she chew'd she thought of a more serious question. It was getting harder. A human would may or may not have gender and that she knew... "I want to take a guess actually. I'm going to have to say ...Shae?" It seemed like an obvious answer. But you never know.

Jami took another bite of her carrot, wondering if he was enjoying the snack.

He took the carrot, his expression filled with disgust. He held it by the very edge, being well aware that Jami had just plucked it from the ground moments before. It was dirty. Nevermind the fact that Owen himself sometime picked food up from the floor, but this was a vegetable, so the gross factor was doubled. He tentatively nibbled the edge of it as if it were poisonous, making a face at Jami.

He raised an interested brow at her guess, before looking confused. He swallowed down the minuscule chunk of carrot. "Who's Shae? The name seemed familiar, but he didn't really know him at all.

At his face she gave him a face of, i can eat, come on! Just to show it she took another bite. When he said he didn't know who shae was she face palmed, so apparently not. "Um, do i see it often?" She tucked a hair back and looked intently at him. She must know the answers! this game was fun but quickly becoming tiring. Maybe they could do something else after his turn was done.

Oh, being showed up again by a female. It was getting to the point of humiliation now. How could she stand eating that anyway? Weren't there parasites in it? Looking fully reluctant, he took another bite. The taste didn't rest well on his tongue, and he swallowed it down, before placing the carrot beside him as if he would refuse to finish it.

Thinking back to the past month, he gave a quick nod. "Yeah. Recently, anyway." She was getting closer, and Owen found himself impatient for her to finally get it.

[Jami Futter]

At his attempt to eat it she smiled, "It's better to try something everynow and then then to not eat it at all, your tastes buds change as you grow. When your an adult you might love carrots! Any way, umi'd ask how I've seen is recently but it isnt a yes no question. How about, Is it living?" She sat down on the bench again where space was and she played with her hair, braiding and un-doing small sections.

Jami sighed a bit getting a bit tired. It must have been the change in temptertaure she got from sitting next to Owen. Which in her mind was a bit pathetic. Why did everything about him have to effect her in someway! "GAH" she said by accident. Her eyes widened a bit realizing what sh had done.

Aaah, a lecture! He could've seen that coming. He'd gotten more than enough from his mother who'd pointlessly try to insist that vegetables were healthy. And Owen would always counter, 'Do they taste good?', to which she'd be unable to answer. They had always been rather tasteless to him, and it wasn't anything he had any interest in changing. Now was no exception. "Oh well," he stubbornly said.

Her question earned a small smirk. Oh well, she could definitely guess it now. "Nope." It was the sudden noise she made that got him sitting up slightly, looking at her in curious concern. Had she been hurt? A quick look over her could not determine what was wrong. "You okay?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jami's cheeks flushed a dark red, "Um, yeah I'm fine! Really!" She gave a nervous smile but there was no doubt she was embarrassed. The fact he was concerned made the blush there even more. It's nice to know a friend cares about you. All the efforts Jami put into keeping her hair behind her ears went away as she let it fall in front of her face. Hopefully to hide herself. Sometimes being a teenage girl was annoying. With out looking at Owen she said, "It's that skeleton isn't it." Jami wiped her hands on her jeans hoping to make them less sweaty.

Jami wanted to say something else but the embarassment was to unbarable. How could she go and make him worry for no reason then her own mistake! She face palmed and mumbled, "uh, I'm sorry for startling you....I um.." She felt so weak it was even more embarrassing. Maybe this fact is why she tried to stand up for Owen all the time. The fact of her acting so, weak and girly wasn't how someone who had lived like she had, should act.

"Uh huh..." A disbelieving, sceptic look crossed his face as he stared at her. She was acting strange, and by that, he meant stranger than usual. He couldn't see her face too well, and he returned to his leaning-back position, whilst still gazing at her curiously. "Bingo," he grinned at her guess. Ah well, at least it was over.

Besides, there were bigger things to worry about. He really didn't get what Jami was so nervous about. Was it something he did? Said? Or maybe she was overreacting about losing? "What? What is it?" he asked, creasing his brows. "Just say it." He didn't like her suspense.

[Jami Futter]

Jami was in defeat. She couldn't avoid telling him. Oh the melodramatics's! She hung her head low and looked at him in the corner of her eye turning her head slowly to face him. "I...I am embarrassed. I was thinking about how nice it was to hang out with you and then i was all, happy face! but then the emotion was to much and i went, GAH! and that embarassed me further...I hate being weak!" Jami gave him the most worried embarrassed look she had. Hopefully he wouldn't see her as to much of a sissy.

Jami felt like she looked helpless. Bleh it was horrible!

"Umm..." The way the dark-haired boy was looking at Jami was almost as if she had just blurted out an alien language. Which was ironic, considering even then, he would've been able to understand it. Why did girls make so little sense?! He figured that the question must have been asked countless times, and countless great philosophers must've shrugged their shoulders. "You're not weak..." he assured, replying to the one bit that he at least understood.

He scratched his head, not knowing how to reassure her, never mind get what she was fumbling on about. "Y'know what? I'm just... gonna blame the carrots." He gave the vile vegeatable a mistrusting glance. "I'm pretty sure they're infected with something. I dunno."

Jami was glad Owen moved away from it all. Hopefully her dramatic had confused him enough to forget it. She smiled when he said she wasn't weak, sending a YAY signal to her brain. happy her little , what ever it was, was over, she focused on his ridiculous accusation. There was no scientific way a simple carrot would make a person go funny, but she went with his story any way. "Oh yes, the big bad carrots are making my brain mush. " She gave him a smile to let him know it was fooling around.

Owen's face twisted into a weird sort of smile - sort of like he was thoroughly amused by her, but didn't want to show it, and was awful at hiding it. He tried to straighten his expression, with varying results.

"You're not making fun of me are you?" he accused, feigning an offended look. "You know zombies have been running around for the past month, and I wouldn't be surprised if they trampled through here a few times." It was intended as a joke, but now that he thought about it, it was enough to put him off the academy's vegetables for life. With a frown, he lightly pushed the carrot off the bench onto the dirt in dissatisfaction.

The look on Owen's face made her bite her lip so she wouldn't smile so much. "Of course I am not making fun! " With the thoughts of zombies having gone by Jami started at the now dirtied carrot, kicking it further away with a look of horror on her face. " Um, ok." That was gross, now he had her thinking it was infected! Jami looked up at the sky like had and Owen had once before and one cloud got her attention.

"Ok...that cloud is definantly a pig."
