Illisandria was so engrossed in moving a large rock that she completely tuned out the rest of the room, only focusing on her task. When she saw the skeletal hand poking out from beneath the rubble she paused and smiled, turning to the zombie, "This was what you were looking for? Well we should uncover the rest of it soon. Be strong...," she then turned to pick up a rock and caught sight of Sargon. Realizing she was probably very rude to someone who was (more than likely) was staff, she ducked her head apologetically as she picked up another rock from the pile, "Sorry for being rude...I should have been nicer to you Sargon, sir." She then carried the rock away from the original pile and went back to get another one, Just a little longer...just you wait, we'll have your friend out soon.

He rolled his eyes as the zombie's wrist literally popped apart and scattered, then glanced around at the students again. Sargon huffed at Illisandria, large streams of smoke coming from his snout and didn't bother with an answer to her apology.

"You're not doing a very good job at it..." White eyes flicked to Jami. The beast made a noise that was like a sigh and moved to arch his neck over to see what was being uncovered. Looming over Onizo and Jami, he reached with a large front paw, hooking his claws under a rather large chunk of what had previously been ceiling at some point. With something of a low growling grunt, he lifted and threw it, flipping it towards the back of the room. He figured he'd help with the huge ones. He was supposed to be serving them, after all. Sargon started on another silently, simply watching and working from what he saw the students doing and going for. He was also wary for the possibility for another cave in. He had no idea what had started the first, but he was supposed to protect these kids, it would not be great to have them squished under his watch.

As the rocks were steadily removed from over the second skeleton's body, she became more fully exposed, lifting her head to look around the room at the mass of people. Covering her old bones was a large, period dress that pegged her to be from around the early 1800s. The fabric was dirty, but was still obviously silk, billowing around the skinless body in a way that suggested that, when alive, she was rather plump.

The first zombie gasped through his loose jaw, reaching forward to take hold of the female zombie. He placed a hand on her cheekbone, and she looked up at him for a moment. But she didn't seem to have the same cognitive impression that he did, and after a moment she began to try and pull herself out from the remaining rubble that still covered her legs, grasping for the closest living body, which happened to be Onizo.

The first zombie seemed a little put out, reaching for the second zombie's head and trying to pull her attention back to him. But it was obvious that she had lost any memories of her life, and her full focus was on trying to get Onizo into her arms.

So they had found what the first zombie had wanted, but questions still remained. Who had these zombies been in their lives? Why was the room still in such a state of disaster when they had obviously died hundreds of years ago? And why had the room been locked?

Onizo looked at the others out of the corner of his eye. He didn't feel so awkward now that the others were joining in. He was about to grab at a very large piece of rubble, but hesitated as Sargon approached the bed. He chose a different boulder instead since the dragon had the boulder in it's hand. He definitely was glad the others were helping, he didn't think he could uncover the...other zombie?...in as little time by himself.

Onizo looked at the new zombie then at the first. The first did seem like it had an interest in the second. The second, though, seemed preoccupied with something else. He widened his eyes as the second started grabbing at him. Picking up a zombie was one thing but being grabbed by one was a different thing. "N...N..Nani?"

As Sargon came to join them Jami moved out of the way a bit and worked on a different section. As the skeleton was revealed she watched the effect the zombie had on it. The zombie obviously had some sort of thing for this skeleton but it didn't seem to return the feelings. Onizo's being attacked just proved it. The dress the skeleton wore was large, yet pretty. The silk was dirty. It could be washed, but why take her dress away. It would be cruel. Then again Jami had taken the doorknob... Nope no more taking.

Jami took in a deep breath, causing more dust to set of sneezing. Between sneezes you could make out Jami saying "I'll be right back!" She hurried out of the room and down the hall a bit until her sneezing decreased.

Sargon shoved a few more rocks over to make more room, eyeing the uncovered zombie with interest. It surely seemed the creature they had been helping had been in search of this deceased lady, though it also certainly seemed that she had not the slightest care. He chuckled lightly as Onizo was gripped after, not at all sympathetic. In fact, grey tendrils of smoke helped to shift the rubble from off her legs so she could get a better hold.

"Well, it seems this is what your zombie friend was looking for. I wonder who she is...or was, rather. Is there anything else in the room that might tell us who would have lived here?" As he said it, he looked up to glance around the room. A desk, or some wall portraits, perhaps? Sargon turned his head as Jami rushed out, and he snorted in amusement, rolling his eyes and shaking his head before returning to his scanning.

With her legs free, the female zombie attempted to scurry up Onizo, despite his words of protest. The first zombie seemed obviously dismayed by her lack of attention. But he was not living, and therefore she had no interest in malling him. He continued to reach out for her, and she continued to reach out for Onizo. In effect, they both ended up climbing towards the boy.

The zombie had obviously found what he was looking for, but that still left the state of the room as a puzzle. Headmistress Everly did not seem the type to leave a room in such disarray. On closer inspection, the rubbled seemed to cover up more than just the bed. There was dust and small pieces of rock scattered across a rather undamaged victorian cylinder desk that was sitting in the corner. It was strange for a few reasons. The first being that every other piece of furniture in the castle seemed to be dated about a hundred or so years before the Victorian Era. Which, in a sense, made this desk new in comparison.

Inside the desk were things that were normally found in desks. Such as paper and ink, a few romance books. There was also a finely decorated jewelry box with a few exquisite pieces laid neatly inside. One in particular, a gold locket, stood out among the rest. It was long and oval shaped with floral etchings pressed into the front. Once the locket was opened, there was a faded picture of a man's bust. He was wearing a black jacket over a white shirt and bow-tie. He seemed to be around his forties and well-groomed. His slicked back hair arching back. The shadows around his eyes contrasted darkly with his skin as he glanced elegantly to the side, as the photographer most likely instructed him to do.

Inside the locket, on the opposite side of the photo, was an engraving that simply read "To My Dearest Florence. Constantly Yours, Gibson."

Onizo's face looked rather pitiful. Being man-handled by a dead person was really not his idea of a good day. He contemplated pulling the female zombie off, something he could do easily...if he was handling a living being. He looked at the female zombie, her dress was deceiving, but he knew she was mostly skeletal. If he tried to pull her off she woul most likely break yet still have a hold of him. His face was even more upset when he noticed the first zombie joining the second in climbing on him.

He looked at the dragon, "Those...are good questions, but I have another one. Why....is the she climbing on me?" He couldn't lie, at the moment he didn't really care about who they were, just why they were climbing on top of him.

Illisandria stopped and stared at the zombies climbing towards Onizo with a mixture of amusement and curiosity. "Maybe she wants something from you? A hug, like the rest of the zombies? Or...," a wicked grin crossed her face, "Your BRAINS!"

Noting a few things about the room, Sargon turned to Onizo.

"Hmm? Well, the zombies here lately seem to be particularly cuddly." His answer was simple, and as Illisandria gave her own joking opinion, the large beast shook his head in exasperation and dispersed into a cloud of smoke. It drifted over to the other side of the room and it partially reformed the beast nearer to the odd desk that seemed a bit out of place. Wisps of smoke slithered through the contents, lifting papers, dipping in drawers, popping open boxes. Finding the locket, the smoke twirled around it, picking it up smoothly. Unclasping it and peering inside, the Qarin peered inside.

"Florence and Gibson?" He spoke plainly in his low tones, then looked over to the two zombies curiously. Looking back and forth between the picture in the locket and the male zombie, Sargon tried to picture the live flesh over the skeletal structure on the undead. "This...may be them." He hummed and glided back over to Onizo, bringing the locket over for the others to see and for a closer look himself at the zombie pair.

"What do you think?"

Everly marched her way through the halls, head head down and her fists balled at her sides. Her hair was slightly disheveled and her light blue dress was still splattered with red. In her mind, the scene kept replaying: Kale's ripping out the intruder's throat with her bare hand, his blood spraying across the room. And now the harpy was gone, to who knows where, and it all seemed for nothing.

To say the headmistress was overwhelmed would be a gross understatement. Her mind felt detached, as if everything that had happened over the past few hours had been a dream. But the blood on her dress proved otherwise. Still, there was a vacant expression on her face that revealed the disconnect that she felt.

Not wanting to run into anyone, she was taking the long way around from the dungeons to her quarters. And there she planned on showering and then curling up in a ball until all this drama went away. So when she passed the grey-haired, sneezing girl in the hallway, Everly glanced up at her, startled. Once her head was up, she glanced down the hall, her startled expression taking in the broken doorway lying in the middle of the hallway.

If she had a heart, it would have jumped to her throat. "No, no, no," she said under her breath as she rushed forward. She stopped at the doorframe, facing the inside the room where Sargon, Illisandria, Onizo and the zombies. The headmistress's eyes widened as she stood there in a moment of shock. And then that moment broke.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" she shouted, her voice high and panicked.

The zombies are still attempting to hug, but the male seems a little distracting by the entrance of the headmistress. If you looked closely, the shape of his skull did have an uncanny resemblance to the "Gibson" portrayed in the locket.

When headmistress Everly walked in and shouted at them, Illisandria's heart stopped. Eyes wide with surprise, she turned to face the headmistress and smiled sheepishly, "Um...well...you see...," Get it together! You didn't do anything wrong! Did you? "We were trying to help this zombie here and, well we broke the door...sorry..."

Onizo's eyes widened, he did NOT like Illisandria's comment. "Oh please, let it....not be after my brains." He watched the dragon search through the desk and when he brought over the locket, he took a look. "Yeah...that could be the...." His sentence was cut off be the appearance and rather stern yell of the head mistress. He stared at her, ".....Oh..We were...helping this guy," his head jestered to the zombie not wearing a dress. His eyes looked at the head mistress, pleading, "Could....Could you get them off...?"

While Jami had been coughing in the hall a woman, who Jami knew to be the head mistress. Her eyes widened knowing in the direction she was heading. Jami followed behind her and watch the woman in her shock. "Is there a reason we couldn't be in here?" she said realizing she was the only one who seemed to think maybe the headmistress had a problem with the room more so then the mess. And there was something strange about her blood covered dress.

Sargon looked between the picture and the zombie. He thought he was seeing a sort of resemblance here...

He looked up as Everly's frame swung in to the open doorway, eyes widening at her horrified scream. Immediately, the Qarin knew something was horribly wrong. He eyed the blood stains on her dress and the wild panicking disbelief clear in her manner. The beast's body dispersed in smoke and came swirling in a gust to the Headmistress, it curled around behind her and the horned head of the Qarin re-materialized out of the grey mists over her shoulder, the cloud of smoke winding in an almost comforting hug.

"Headmistress Everly, are you alright? We will explain, but...You're covered in blood...what has happened?" Forget the room, was his contract holder well? "Please, calm down."

The locket still hung in a cloud of black smoke near Sargon.

Ignoring Sargon's words of comfort, Everly reached out and snatched the locket from its place suspended in the air. She held it open in front of her face, her expression agitated. Her eyes flicked to each student as they spoke in turn. Sorry? Zombies? She looked more closely at the zombies, the expression in her eyes showing that she recognized them.

Then, she screamed. Everly's pretty mouth opened, her face pulled and contorted into rage. Rubble loosened itself from the ceiling, falling in large chunks towards the zombies. The female zombie, who was still trying to claw her way up Onizo's leg, was hit in the head by a large chunk of debris. There was a loud cracking sound as her skull was crushed and she fell off the boy, her headless body laying motionless.

The male zombie looked down at the female then back up at Everly, who had stopped screaming. They stared at each other until finally the zombie laid down next to the other. He was still, as if he had never moved at all. It was possible that some of the debris had hit Onizo if he hadn't gotten out of the way quickly enough.

Everly breathed heavily, her fists clenched. She spun around, facing Jami. Her eyes narrowed on the girl. "A reason?" she said, her voice high and agitated. "The door was locked! Don't you think that's reason enough! I let you into my castle, and you go around breaking my doors and stealing my things!" Everly held up the locket as if this were proof.

"And I can't calm down! She.. she.." The headmistress' eyes began to water as she turned her face to Sargon. "She killed him," she said in a whispered burst. But it was loud enough for the students to hear if they were listening.

((NPC is dead. Illisandria's turn. ^^))

Sandria stood there, shocked and finally taking in the blood all over Everly. What had happened? What went on that made the normally calm headmistress so disheveled? "She killed him"? Was this what she was so wound up about? Why she had yelled at them, why she looked like she was starting to cry.

"What-what happened?"

Death at a school? How could there be death here? This place is supposed to be safe!

Onizo winced at the Headmistress' scream, not at all expecting her to do that. He didn't move once the debris began to fall and a couple pebbles and dust landed on him. He watched as the female zombie's head was crushed under a large stone. He stood in shock for a moment to long and was hit by a larger rock. That jolted him from his motionless position to teleporting to a spot where debris didn't fall. He then began rubbing his head where he had been hit.

Onizo listened as the headmistress stated her discontent. At the mention of the locked door his face dawned a regretful look. "I....It was my fault, Ms. Everly....I was the one to knock the door down...." Then at being accused of stealing he couldn't help but be a little upset. "I beg your pardon....But we had no intent of taking anything from the room.....I think." He gave a quick glance to the two students, not accusingly just unsure, but quickly went back to rubbing his head carefully.

Jami's strong facade was breaking. As the zombie was smashed and the head mistress scream Jami sat down on the floor and covered her ears. Killing. No, no killing. She didn't want anyone to go on about killing. Petunia was stirring inside smiling but Jami was able to push her back. She looked to the head mistress. "Who were they?"

She stared at the woman waiting for an answer directly. She was scared of the idea of this place not being safe inside the walls of the castle but she wanted to know why it happened.

The beast was take aback by Everly's sudden outburst of rage. He watched with wide eyes as the zombies were dispatched with ease. He wasn't scared, persay, but he was certainly surprised and shocked. He had figured the Headmistress as such a peaceful woman. He took a deep breath that made the smoky body swirl.

"Headmistress...please you must calm yourself. The students here were merely curious and they did not mean you or your things harm I do not believe.." His deep rumbling voice was calm and collected, trying to make his contract holder see reason. He glanced a little uncertainly to the students. Should they have this conversation in front of them? Was it appropriate? But he guessed they had already heard... Sargon lowered his voice anyway. "Now who were the zombies and...who killed who?"

At the students' questioning and Sargon's insistance the headmistress realizes that she must control herself. She looks between the worried eyes of the students, and it occurs to her that she has said too much. There is no point in telling them about Kale. As for the zombies..... the headmistress waved her hand dismissively, a shaky smile and huff of laughter breaking her angry features.

"Oh them. Don't worry about them, it's nothing. Forget it all. The door, everything. It's not your fault. I can fix it." She waved her hand in front of the rubble, the pieces of door coming back together once again and resuming its place in the door frame. The door was a part of her original castle, and therefore she was more able to fix it than she would have been if it was something new. "There, see, no harm done," she smiled and walked towards the door to demonstrate how it could swing easily on its hinges once again. Of course, as she put her hand on the door she couldn't help but notice the missing door knob. "Hmm," she hummed to herself, eyeing the hole. "That's strange." Her eyes scanned the floor as she searched for the missing piece, but it was no where to be found. The headmistress frowned. "Do any of you happen to know where.....? Oh, it doesn't matter." She waved her hand and smiled again. The smile was altogether pleasant, but there was still a glint of crazy in her eyes.

As she eyed the students her mind reeled. She just couldn't keep her mind from returning to Kale and the intruder, the bloody scene repeating itself over and over in her mind. And then there were her students, right in front of her, and suddenly an idea came to her. Her eyes brightened.

"Excuse me, but since you're all here. I've been meaning to ask the students something important, and I'm just now finding the opportunity to do so." She cleared her throat. "Hendry, who I'm sure you all met on your way here, has told me of a mysterious man that was trying to talk to you all in Sindri's Cove. Did any of you happen to meet him or speak with him at all?" Her eyes were wide, eyebrows arched high as she scanned the small group of students, looking for an answer. For now she ignored the jinn, worried that if he knew what she was thinking, he would try to stop her. Even she was unsure of her own plan's sanity. But she had to know.

As the head mistress tried to change the conversion, Jami's trust in the her went down a notch. Jami wasn't particularly fond of the woman. It seemed she was full of secrets that wouldn't be shared. Like why she was covered in blood.

As the door was fixed Jami's eyes widened. She pretended to look around for the nob but made it seem like she picked it up by the rumble in the room. "Here it is!" She went and handed it to her.At her question though she raised an eye brow. She had talked to the guy. But that was so long ago. "I talk to someone. But I told Hendry about him."
